[Restructuring in Mexico and the United States and international migration]

"This article relates some of the new trends in Mexican migration to the United States to the various moments, forms and intensities of restructuring in both countries. It states that the new forms of precarious employment in Mexico have to do not just with the size of migrant flows and migrants' socioeconomic characteristics, but with the responses of host populations.
