[Infant mortality surveys in the Sahel. Some problems of technical evaluation]

"The purpose of this paper is to investigate the main problems encountered with the various surveys on child mortality in the [African] Sahel countries.... After reviewing the methodological problems, the author discusses how to estimate the level of child mortality.
