Hydroxyproline-rich glycoproteins (HRGPs) and glycine-rich proteins (GRPs) show distinct, developmentally regulated expression patterns in soybean tissues. HRGPs are prominent in meristematic and stressed cells, while GRPs are associated with lignifying cells.
