1St Bartholomew School of Nursing and Midwifery, City University, London.
Abstract:
Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure that involves the recording of electrical potential differences generated in the brain. The procedure is valuable in many aspects of neurology, particularly in the diagnosis of epilepsy. This article explains the procedure, what the results can indicate and the nursing care involved.
