[Hormones--underestimated problem in dermatology. Part I. Diseases connected with excessive androgenisation]

This article is devoted to hormonal pathogenesis of chosen dermatoses--acne vulgaris and androgenetic alopecia--basis of the latest literature. Authors take note of possible role of many different hormonal factors, not only androgens, in etiology these diseases. The further study of mentioned problems can lead to new clinical and therapeutic implications in dermatology.
