Summary

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the correlation between specific visual parameters and reading performance in children.

  • A cohort of 284 children (mean age 9.9 years) underwent vision screenings, including tests for binocular anomalies, visual acuity, and accommodative facility.
  • Reading accuracy and non-verbal mentation age were assessed to classify children into normal readers, dyslexic, or learning disabled groups.
