Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the association between impaired lung diffusion and diminished exercise capacity in patients with chronic heart failure.
  • To explore the correlation between lung diffusion parameters and exercise performance under varying oxygen conditions.

  • Conducted pulmonary function tests and maximal cardiopulmonary exercise testing in 40 CHF patients and 40 controls.
