Objective:
To observe the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation program in patients with impaired function of the knees.
Methods:
Thirty six patients with knee injury received physiotherapy, mobilization and muscle-strengthening exercise, and the improvement in knee function was assessed by means of the hospital for special surgery knee rating scale (HSS) that was applied both before and after the therapy.
Result:
Significant increase in the scores of HSS was noted after rehabilitation therapy, and the knee function improvement was obvious.
Conclusion:
Comprehensive rehabilitation program may help improve the motor function of lower limbs with impaired knee function.
