Hypercortisolemia decreases dexamethasone half-life in rabbit

High cortisol levels, or hypercortisolemia, shorten the body's processing time for dexamethasone. This finding may explain lower dexamethasone levels observed in individuals with hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis hyperactivity.
