Summary

Natural killer (NK) cell alloreactivity in mismatched transplants enhances engraftment and graft-versus-leukemia effects while preventing graft-versus-host disease. This suggests NK cells are a powerful tool for improving allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
