[Device for studying and recording threshold values for tactile sensitivity for periodontal tooth receptors]

The paper gives data on a new original device and relevant methods for determining the threshold values of tactile sensitivity of periodontal receptors. Methods for studies, the arrangement of the device, and its control are fully described. The use of the device makes it possible to judge about the time course of changes in the periodontium in parodontium pathology and may render a considerable assistance in tooth prosthesis.
