Saving lives after death

With more than 78,000 people on the waiting list, organ and tissue donation has become a national priority. Last year, the Department of Health and Human Services launched a nationwide campaign to create a "donation friendly America," calling upon everyone from corporations to health care systems to help increase awareness about the need for organ and tissue donors.
