[Current trends in diagnostic imaging of the pancreas]

Imaging techniques play a key role the diagnosis of pancreas diseases. This paper is intended to review the current status of various, modern imaging modalities and discuss the technical aspects, advantages and drawbacks of ultrasonography, spiral CT, endoscopic retrograde cholangiography and MR imaging in the diagnosis of pancreatic diseases.
