Lung function and cardiovascular risk: relationship with inflammation-sensitive plasma proteins.

Reduced pulmonary function, measured by Forced Vital Capacity (FVC), is linked to higher levels of inflammation-sensitive proteins. This association partially explains the increased risk of cardiovascular disease in individuals with low FVC.
