Summary

Physical activity and cardiorespiratory fitness are linked to higher levels of dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate (DHEAS) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) in elderly women. Exercise may positively influence anabolic hormone production in older adults.
