Summary

Minimal deviation melanomas (MDM) are uncommon skin tumors. This study found MDM affects younger patients (mean age 27) and is less aggressive than typical melanomas, with few positive lymph nodes.

  • Retrospective review of medical records from a tertiary care university medical center (January 1997 - May 2000).
