Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of open antero-inferior capsular shift for treating multidirectional shoulder instability.
  • To assess patient outcomes and satisfaction following this surgical procedure.

  • A cohort of 17 patients with multidirectional shoulder instability underwent open antero-inferior capsular shift.
  • Outcomes were assessed using Rowe and Constant scores and the 12-item questionnaire of Dawson.
