Summary

Giant-cell reparative granuloma (GCRG) in a child's maxilla is rare. Surgical curettage is an effective treatment with a low recurrence rate for this jaw lesion.

Background:

  • Giant-cell reparative granuloma (GCRG) is an uncommon benign bone lesion.

  • Radiological findings were variable, showing radiolucency with uni- or multilocular features.

  • Surgical curettage was performed as the treatment modality.
  • Post-operative follow-up indicated no recurrence of the lesion.
