Weight changes are common after myocardial infarction (MI). This pilot study found that weight management advice did not prevent weight gain in overweight post-MI patients, highlighting the need for larger sample sizes in future research.

Purpose of the Study:

  • Analysis of a randomized controlled trial involving 84 post-MI patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation.
