Summary

Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) is a safe and effective procedure for prostate cancer, showing excellent oncological and functional outcomes comparable to open surgery. Early experience demonstrates its reproducibility and advantages, including reduced blood loss and transfusion rates.
