    Fifty-five-degree oblique hilar tomography accurately evaluates hilar anatomy and pathology. This imaging technique is valuable for confirming normal hilar findings and differentiating hilar adenopathy from masses, but cannot distinguish granulomatous infiltrates from tumors.
