Abstract
Background:
Previous studies have reported the results of hepatic resection for metastatic ovarian cancer at the time of primary cytoreductive surgery and at the time of recurrence.
Case:
We present the first case of major hepatic resection performed at the time of interval cytoreduction for metastatic ovarian carcinoma.
Conclusion:
Interval debulking with hepatic resection may be a promising approach for patients left with bulky parenchymal liver metastasis after primary cytoreductive surgery.
