Proliferative activity and apoptosis in thymic epithelial neoplasms

Summary

Predicting thymic epithelial tumor behavior is challenging. This study found p53 protein overexpression correlates with higher proliferation, while Bcl-2 inhibits apoptosis, suggesting their utility as diagnostic markers for thymoma subtypes.
