Abstract:
Participants in adult day centers may indicate that they do not want to be resuscitated if they have a life-threatening health crisis. To comply with their wishes the adult day center needs to have policies procedures in place to professionally legally safeguard the institution. These authors describe the process for developing implementing the do-not-resuscitate policy.
