Abstract
Objective:
To investigate the chemical constituents from the herb Speranskia tuberculata.
Method:
The chemical constituents were extracted with solvent and separated with column chromatography. The structures were elucidated by spectral analysis.
Result:
Two compounds were isolated from the plant and identified as 18-hydroxy(-)-manool and beta-sitosterol.
Conclusion:
Both were separated from this plant first time.
