Abstract:
To date there has been a lack of a suitable survey instrument for evaluating occupational hazards of ultra violet radiations. A portable optical spectroradiometer has been developed consisting of a miniature tandem grating monochromator with a photomultiplier detector. This instrument appears to satisfy operational requirements for an ultraviolet hazard survey meter.
