|January 11, 2003
Abstract:
The first known mating-competent isolate of Cryptococcus neoformans serotype A MATa (CBS 9172/ATCC MYA 2742), recently reported, was found during an environmental study of a rural aviary in the Italian province of Apulia. Data are presented to facilitate the finding of more such isolates.
