[Evolution and surgical treatment of wrist sprains, 10 years of experience]

A retrospective study about 177 patients which were treated for dorsal ruptures of radiocarpal ligaments in 10 years allow to present a surgical procedure for treatment of sprain of wrist. It is a jacket plasty or an anchorage, effected for 159 of all of them, after the lesion was made in evidence with the help of a selective compartimental arthrography. The recovery of the function of the wrist was obtained medially 10.7 weeks after the operation, without pain.
