    Background:

    • Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis is a severe fungal infection resistant to standard treatments.
    • Assessing immune function is crucial for understanding treatment efficacy in refractory cases.

    Observation:

    • A patient with treatment-resistant candidiasis received transfer factor therapy on three occasions.
    • Immunological function was extensively tested before and after each transfer factor administration.
