Abstract
Objective:
To study the chemical constituents in the fruit of Lycium barbarum.
Method:
The chemical constituents were isolated by column chromatography and identified by spectral data.
Result:
The compounds obtained were identified as scopoletin(I), beta-sitosterol(II), p-coumaric acid(III), glucose(IV), daucosterol(V) and betaine(VI).
Conclusion:
Compounds III, IV and V were isolated from Lycium barbarum for the first time.
