[Studies on the effect of column temperature on gel permeation chromatography]

By experiments, we found that the effect of temperature on column efficiency increased with the increase of relative molecular mass. The elution volume was relevant to the temperature, while the selectivity was not. Besides, the resolution for macromolecules was improved significantly by increasing temperature while not for small molecules. Further, the same results were obtained at different temperatures in certain range.
