    Summary

    This study investigated cesium-131 (131Cs) and gallium-67 (67Ga) for evaluating solitary thyroid nodules. Results suggest these radionuclides offer doubtful value in identifying malignant thyroid lesions before surgery.

    • Further research may be needed to explore more effective imaging agents for thyroid nodule assessment.
