Abstract:
We observed the changes of nonlinear dynamic parameters in the patients with diabetes and old myocardial infarction with the methods of nonlinear dynamics. The results indicate that the correlation dimension of the patients with old myocardial infarction is higher than that of the normal, their Lyapunov exponent is lower than the normal's; that the correlation dimension of the patients with diabetes is also higher than that of the normal, their Lyapunov exponent is lower than the normal's; and that the values of the entropy of the two patient groups are basically identical to the entropy of the normal. Therefore the correlation dimension can indicate the changes in the function of autonomic nerve of the patients with diabetes and old myocardial infarction.
