Summary

Self-assembled lead selenide (PbSe) quantum dots on lead telluride (PbTe) quasisubstrates exhibit a remarkably narrow size distribution of 2%. This is achieved through controlled nucleation at defects, surpassing previous quantum dot fabrication methods.
