Abstract:
Acute coronary syndromes comprise acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction, non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction and unstable angina. These three conditions share a very similar pathology, although treatments differ. This paper examines the pathophysiology, identification, classification and management of these conditions.
