Abstract:
We studied dynamics of leukocyte composition and corticosterone content in the peripheral blood of male Norway rats after long-term selection for tame or aggressive behavior immediately after 20 min restrain as well as 2 and 4 h later. The stressor changed the stressor concentration and the proportion of various types of leukocytes in the both experimental groups. Quantitatively, the changes were more pronounced in the group of aggressive animals.
