Summary

Weekly low-dose cisplatin (20 mg/m(2) IV) is safe for tumor-bearing dogs but can cause significant declines in leukocyte, neutrophil, and platelet counts. Limit cisplatin treatments to five consecutive doses to mitigate toxicity.
