Summary
Two new xanthones were identified in Premna microphylla roots. These compounds, 1-hydroxy-2,3-methylenedioxy-6-methoxycarbonyl-7-acetylxanthone and 1,3-dihydroxy-2-methoxy-6-methoxycarbonyl-7-acetylxanthone, are reported for the first time from this plant.
