[Psychological factors in general practice]

The paper concerns psychological predictors of the pattern of activity of a general practitioner which should be allowed for in collecting data for case records, planning and conduction of examinations, design and discussion of treatment policy. The ability to communicate with the patient has a noticeable psychological effect on the patient's compliance. The analysis of the psychological predictors is important for psychological training of general practitioners whose activity is very specific.
