Abstract:
Osteoporosis is a common age-related condition that is largely preventable but frequently undiagnosed until a major life-altering fracture occurs. As the United States (US) population continues to age, managing this disease looms as a major challenge for physicians who care for older adults. It is also a time of excitement and opportunities as more evidence-based guidelines become available for our patients.
