Frontoethmoidal fractures can lead to serious complications.
Pneumocephalus is a recognized but often overlooked consequence of head trauma.

Observation:

A case of bilateral frontal lobe pneumocephalus following a frontoethmoidal fracture is presented.
The extent of cerebral damage was significant before detection.

Intracerebral pneumocephalus is most common with fractures of the frontal sinus or ethmoidal/cribriform plate.
