Atypical unilateral acute pyelonephritis initially diagnosed by scinti-studies

A patient with vague and atypical symptoms is described in whom the radionuclide dynamic and static imaging studies proved to be more useful than a preceding excretory urogram for the diagnosis of unilateral pyelonephritis.
