[Rescue of natural delivery in the technology era]

This article discusses natural delivery, in spite of the technological development in the obstetric field. It proposes that natural delivery can generate a more humanized pregnancy and delivery and that it is an alternative proposal to the current model. Medical technology interference, in the delivery process, is associated to economic power, and presupposes that a safe delivery is the one done in a hospital provided with high technology. The current philosophy of medical delivery with severe asepsis and technical procedures, which are often unnecessary, interfere in this wonderful conquest of the evolution process that is the regular delivery.
