[Delayed rupture of a metastatic-spleen following coeliacography (author's transl)]

A 49-year-old female patient died 7 days after coeliacography due to delayed rupture of the spleen. Apparently banal events are able to cause rupture of the spleen if metastatic or other pathological alterations are present. There is a brief discussion whether or not coeliacography could induce rupture of the spleen.
