Abstract:
The outcome of endodontic treatment is not always easy to predict or assess. The ability to recognize success and evaluate the causes of failure is essential to effective root canal treatment. Utilizing recent advances in technique renders retreatment of failing cases very feasible and highly successful. These advances should also reduce the incidence of failure.
