    • Typical imaging findings often include mass lesions or vascular abnormalities.
    • Renal vein involvement is a known, but not universal, characteristic.

    Observation:

    • A specific case of RCC without renal vein involvement was analyzed.
    • Intravenous urography (IVU) was performed as a diagnostic tool.
    • The IVU revealed a persistent nephrogram, an unusual sign.

    • The persistent nephrogram on IVU mimicked signs of obstructive uropathy.
