Logistic or additive EuroSCORE for high-risk patients?

The logistic European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation (EuroSCORE) better predicts mortality in high-risk cardiac surgery patients than the additive EuroSCORE. While both systems show similar discrimination, the logistic model offers improved accuracy, especially for high-risk individuals.
