Patients with panic disorder (PD) exhibit heightened cardiovascular sympathetic reactivity, evidenced by increased blood pressure (BP) overshoot during standing. This response normalized with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor treatment, suggesting baroreflex dysfunction in PD.
