Background:

  • Compare baseline cholesterol and triglyceride levels between MDD patients with and without TRD.
  • Investigate if baseline cholesterol predicts treatment response in TRD patients receiving nortriptyline (NT).

  • A 6-week open-label trial of nortriptyline (NT) was conducted for 92 TRD patients.
