Abstract:
To provide effective and safe patient care, it is imperative for all practitioners to possess a core set of skills. This paper describes the development of a framework for assessment of competence in carrying out Doppler assessments and compression bandaging for practitioners involved in caring for patients with leg ulcers in one institute of higher education.
